InboxBay / Omnichannel inbox

Omnichannel support

One omnichannel inbox. Five ways customers already write.

Omnichannel is not a stack of disconnected inboxes. It is one place where the same customer, on WhatsApp yesterday and email this morning, is still the same thread of work.

Channels in one InboxBay queue

Messenger

Facebook Page inbox, shared with the rest of the team.

Email

A mailbox the team can see, with the same assignment and notes.

Website chat

The live-chat widget lands in the same queue as messaging apps.

Customer history

Search the person, not the channel they happened to use last.

What omnichannel does not mean here

It does not mean InboxBay replaces WhatsApp Business, Instagram, or your mail host. Those stay the customer’s apps. InboxBay is the workspace on top.

It does not mean a finished autonomous AI layer. Routing, labels and saved replies are live. Suggested replies and autonomous answering are coming soon.

It does not mean a guaranteed full archive import. After you connect a channel, new conversations land here. Ask before you assume a provider’s history moves.

Omnichannel inbox FAQ

What is an omnichannel inbox?

An omnichannel inbox puts WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, email and website chat in one queue with one assignment model and one customer history.

Which channels can InboxBay connect?

WhatsApp Business, Instagram DMs, Facebook Messenger, email, and the website live-chat widget. Each channel must be connected before messages appear.

Do you import every old conversation?

Do not plan on a full history import from every channel. Once a channel is connected, new conversations land in InboxBay. What can be pulled from a provider varies.
